Customer needs

Arriva Italia Srl, the Italian holding of Arriva Group, one of the largest operators of passenger transport services in Europe, has been in collaboration with Eggup since September 2019 for the implementation of a co-innovation project linked to the 2019 OpenItaly Innovation Program.

Objective: to build a unique experience in terms of training, development and improvement of individual performance, where people are the real protagonists of their daily and professional path of self-development.

Project development

Eggup intervened with the implementation of a personalized assessment to create a mapping of the values ​​of the Arriva Leadership model and a gap evaluation based on the results of the assessment. This was done in order to be able to suggest innovative self-development paths and propose coaching solutions where Social Learning represents a fundamental part.

The next step was the customization of a digital platform, in collaboration with Skylab Italia, for the provision of assessment, training, micro & adaptive learning and HR monitoring solutions. Finally, a benchmark analysis (internal and external) has been performed on the analytics collected.

Project results

Already during the pilot project phase, the main advantages deriving from the development of a customized e-learning path for continuous training appeared quite clear.

An innovative training method, combined with an automatic management of training needs, allows for a high level of customization and adaptation of training courses to the needs of the end user, resulting in training programs tailored on the individual, on their personality traits and professional interests. This means a strengthening of the Corporate Employer Branding and, at the same time, the guarantee of collecting interesting HR Analytics for the creation of increasingly personalized development paths.
